Yep. The opposing end of the camshaft is usually trashed too. I'd almost bet money oil pressure is low anyway. Seen it too many times. I'll also add that the OP should also make sure to check it at 2k rpm as well. I've seen a couple that were above spec at idl... Login to read more.
