Even suspecting a bad camshaft, I couldn't find any indication of twist or damage. The trigger wheel has a diameter of around 2 inches, so with a suspected 5 degrees of twist, I should have measured a 0.087 inch offset between a reference point on the cam gear... Login to read more.
