I'd pull the bed; on my old Dakota I removed all but the rearmost bolts and loosened those, unscrewed the filler neck, and just jacked it up like a dump truck. It's a LOT faster and easier to cut/grind/weld from above, vs facefulls of rust/dirt/welding slag/ a... Login to read more.
