In response to your question... I looked at Hyundai's Repair manual at P0076:Intake Valve Control Solenoid Circuit-Low (Bank 1) that makes mention of looking at the control (ground) side of the disconnected Valve. There should be a 23% duty cycle at 3 -4 volts... Login to read more.
