I may not be much or any help, but I yanked the stock carb. off my 1988 EVO and bolted on a flat slide Makuni from my local Harley shop. It was expensive but it was worth every penny! I've put over 25000 km. on it and it has never needed any adjustment whatsoe... Login to read more.
