I have worked on plenty of 4.2 engines and they don't normally have an excessive amount of blowby. If you have excessive blowby and the PCV system is OK, you have a combustion sealing issue. Do note that the PCV system on the 4.2 hass an orfice in the head gas... Login to read more.
