Some of these Asian Ford transmissions won't tolerate 90w gear lube. I made the mistake of changing the trans oil and installing 85-90 in my '85, which I bought brand-new. Eventually I put in some of BG's Syncro-Tech gear oil and solved the problems. Th... Login to read more.
