George, if nothing else just do the basic math. That starter is rated @ 1,700 watts. So at cranking this would be around 11 volts @ 154 amps. IOW if you installed a carbon pile tester on the battery of this vehicle, and drew 154 amps, it would be UNREASONABLE ... Login to read more.
