Flashing Stabilitrak/Traction Control Light w/ no codes
Posted to Technical Discussion Forum on 10/12/2018 9 Replies

Hey Gentleman,

It's been a longtime since I've posted on here. But I am running into a bit of an issue. I've got a used 2007 GMC Yukon that we are attempting to put on the lot. But this specific Yukon is lifted about 6 inches. Any time you make a turn above 10mph, the Stabilitrak/Traction Control light flashes until you straighten back out. No ABS light or no codes either in history or while it happens. I did some research on line and found that it could be possible that the Yaw and Lateral sensors could be going outside of the factory parameter due to the lift, causing the light to temporarily flash. I went to a suspension shop, and they told me to try aligning the vehicle, but I don't see a reason to, as it drives perfectly straight, steering wheel is perfectly straight, and there are no codes for the steering angle sensor.

I'm going to put this vehicle to the wayside and finish my safety on a motorhome and hopefully you fine gentleman will have some ideas.

Have a great day!
