Another quick test you can do for cats. Let the vehicle idle for 5 mins. or so with the hood down. Look at intake air temp on the scanner. Road test the vehicle the temp should go down not up. Works well on 4 cyl. vehicles not so much so on V-6 V-8. Login to read more.
