I was thinking the same thing. I checked VE and it was 83%, intake vacuum at idle is 14.9 inHg, but at around 2500 rpm vacuum increases to about 17.5 inHg. If a cat was even partially plugged I would expect intake vacuum to fall at higher rpm, if I understand ... Login to read more. ![]()
