This is usually caused by the clutch pack in the transfer box (VTG). I recommend changing the VTG oil (must be correct oil as per BMW spec) then drive the car in the parking lot in figure 8 for a while. NOTE: Shake the new VTG oil bottle to mix the additives. ... Login to read more.
