Wow, that sounds terrible. I don't think it is a timing chain noise, sounds more like lash adjusters / rockers etc like Joe said. Was it getting plenty of oil to the valve train when you ran it ? Did the noise start suddenly or has it been slowly getting worse... Login to read more.
