I'm not looking at a WD right now, but I'm familiar with the system. The PCM controls the pump via the FPDM, by sending a duty cycle control signal to the FPDM, and the FPDM sends a confirmation back to the PCM. All of that "back and forth" should set DTC's if... Login to read more.
