Just programmed a 2006 Nissan Frontier TCM. Programming went to the end but when it tells me to turn the key on to write configuration it says IGN OFF detected and wont change to on when the key is turned on. I have programmed over 50 of these. Also if I go to diagnose all systems it does the same thing, IGN OFF detected. Anyone know what the Consult 3-plus is looking at for ignition on? Other than not being able to complete programming to make the transmission work properly I don't see any other problem. I am guessing the signal I am looking for comes from the ECM but I can't confirm it. The shop I'm programming this for is having a hard time understanding this truck probably has had this problem for a long time but has never had a Consult 3-plus connected to it that requires this ignition on signal. Any advice in this signal problem.
