WATER IN ECM
I have a good customers car in here that after doing some front end repair work and calling him to pick it up it became a cranks but no run. So I check it out and it has no spark. No driver to the coil. Great power everywhere. So I pull down the pcm to pin it out and it is full of water. This car is pristine. No rust at all. Garage kept most of the time. It has a sunroof so I'll be checking the sun roof drains as well as the windshield. My real question for you is: Where is the best place to get either this pcm rebuilt/repaired or where is the best place to purchase one? The number on the cover of the pcm 0 261 200 055. Is this the only number I need to source a replacement pcm? If you have some product knowledge as far as finding and repairing the leak please feel free to chime in. Just so you know the calipers locked up on this same car and I was unable to locate replacements anywhere. Even bmw. Parts for this particular car are very hard to locate. They will show up but when I go to order they will come back with "unable to locate". Thank you for your time. Tony
