Permanent magnet , DC brush motors are speed controlled, commonly, by lowering the voltage to it. Like the blower motor for the HVAC. Lowering the voltage will cause lower pressure, at that time, but, won't damage the motor. I would take the old one apart to s... Login to read more. ![]()
