John and I have noticed that on the last 4 Altimas in the shop a noise. It sounds likee a bad AC idler bearing but is in fact the upper chain idler. This idler/pulley rides on a large (about 30 mm diameter by 20 mm deep) bronze bushing which is pressure lubed ... Login to read more.
