Before you re-install the caliper, wind it out to almost touch the pads. I don’t have an answer for you as to why, but it works. I worked at the dealer and did 100s of these, I’ve never had one fail. Now I’m at an Indy, I’ve only had to replace for torn boots.... Login to read more.
