Aiming The Lane Watch Camera On A 2016 Honda CRV
Since I have been retired for over a year I don't have access to the special tools as I once did and I no longer have the contacts I once had with at other dealerships in my dealer group. That being said, I recently replaced the right side mirror on my 2016 Honda CRV, because my wife decided to remove it while backing out of the garage. Now that it is replaced I have to aim the lane watch camera. I have the procedure to manually program the aiming of the lane watch camera without using a scan tool, but I do not have the Honda lane watch aiming target. I found a procedure for programming the camera using the six dot image that you can print out from home, but I am reluctant to do this because I don't know if this procedure will work or if will erase any other data that is stored if I am unsuccessful. My question is should I attempt to do this myself, or should I take the vehicle to the dealership to have it programmed by an expert. It's funny, but I used to be an expert and I was the only one that worked on my cars.
