On some VW's I have been able to scan and erase any DTC's. On a 98 VW Passat, 1.8L turbo, will a scanner through generic be able to scan the CEL? Alldata says to use VW's VAG. But I thought there was another way. Any imput would help. I am using a Vetronix Mas... Login to read more.
