G'day Gordon, technically oil does not freeze, it does however thicken. What you are seeing is oil that is completely saturated with contamination due to lack of oil changes. I have seen oil not drain at 35 c degrees ambient and a warm engine (Mainly Diesel e... Login to read more. ![]()
