The amplitude of the vibration at a low rpm is more that the mounts can handle; the old Generous Motors 2.5's would make the mirrors useless at idle. The 2.0 motors had a shorter stroke, and were smooth as glass by comparison. 90 degree V8's and 60 degree V6's... Login to read more.
