I put a turbo-diesel from an '84 Jetta in my '82 Rabbit because the NA 1.6 was pretty wimpy. It upped the output by only about 15 to 20 HP, but what a difference! I can tow my 400-500 lb.(?) tow dolly through the mountains with it like it doesn't weigh anythin... Login to read more.
