G'day Michael, I would not time sert the thread if you don't think there is sufficient thickness because you will end up with a 14 mm hole, just go oversize. 1/2 inch NC would work I think and it is just a tad bigger than 12mm. (put grease on the tap too) Stev... Login to read more.
