Had similar symptoms on an old Ford dump truck that had a Pertronix ignition system on it. The magnet sleeve on shaft was not level with the igniter top as per installation instructions. I shimmed the magnet sleeve with a garden hose washer, symptoms gone. Lat... Login to read more.
