Tom's answer is interesting....I've never had to do a VTD relearn after replacing an SDM. Maybe Astro is different, I don't know.

All I've ever done is set up the SDM primary key in the BCM. Go into the BCM with the Tech2 and it should be under "module setup... Login to read more.
