This sounds to me, like an early, 'non-enhanced' Evap system. Very common on many early OBD2 vehicles. Ford Rangers, of the same vintage, only had a flow sensor and purge solenoid, no vent. The same holds true for early Toyota vehicles. They also, did not seal... Login to read more.
