Re: Base timing shifting when hot
I too am thinking that when the base-timing connector [Fords of that vintage called it the SPOUT] is unplugged, there should be no ESC and the timing should remain at the base setting, regardless of RPM, TPS, ECT, etc. Just for grins [and to address the improb... Login to read more. ![]()
