Re: Base timing shifting when hot
Robert, just had a 89 chevy C1500 with 5.7 TBI with shifting base timing issues similar to your problem. Found that TPS was sticking intermittantly . Found it visually after noticing would hesitate on accel on occasion and sometimes stall at idle. No codes for... Login to read more.
