I've experienced intermittent t-stat failures on this engine. Make sure you use a genuine o.e. t-stat. Also, I've experienced cam sensor (right rear head, top)problems for a misfire. And there may be a TSB on this. I've heard that you're not supposed to resurf... Login to read more.
