The VW repair manual lists the Star Scan as the correct tool for this vehicle. I will try again to load the vin; I think I can borrow an X431. I know I have reprogrammed a pcm and performed a wcm replacement on these VW's with no previous problem. Bad rebuilt ... Login to read more.
