Every time that i have had to replace the water pump on these engines (2.0) 2009 Audi A4 Base...it is because they have all failed at the same spot. The spot on the water pump that holds the gasket fails and allows the gasket to suck in and leak externally at the block.

Today's Audi is now being warrantied for the second time in a year (3rd pump). They have been from World Pac. Today we elected to get one from the Audi dealer. Are the aftermarket housings too weak? Are the Audi dealer pumps any different?
