55-70 psi compression? As many stated, either a bad engine, washed down or bad gauge. 70 psi is pretty damn weak.

Are you even sure these 2 engines are compatible? I haven't had time to check but different cam/crank triggers are quite possible. I'd try start... Login to read more.
