The last test I did of glow plugs on a Ford 7.3 Powerstroke, they hit about 180-200amps initially, with 8 good glow plugs. We use current to test the glow pugs. Any less than about 90 amps initial cold peak current per bank indicates a failed glow plug. I woul... Login to read more.
