The sprocket on the left is a simple 1:1 ratio with the balance shaft. Just line the mark up.

The other sprocket at the oil pump turns the balance shaft at 1:1.5 ratio, so yes the marks can line up but still be wrong, and yes the engine will vibrate badly at... Login to read more.
