Re: piston ring placement order
If the ring has a dot it goes toward the top of the cylinder. If it has a bevel it goes up on the top ring, down on the second ring. Many ring sets are barrel faced and they can go either direction. My experience is that barrel faced rings are used on the top ... Login to read more. ![]()
