I have seen lots of vtec issues related to oil starvation. On car had a dent on the oil pan that it was pressed upon the oil pick-up. At high rpm there wasn't enough oil flow. No brand oil filters can cause vtec issues as well. As mentioned by our fellow techn... Login to read more.
