I agree that 0.14 amp [140 milliamps] is about 3 times too high.

I would start with a fuse-voltage-drop test.

Even a 0.5 amp battery maintainer should be able to handle a 140 ma draw, so perhaps your cust is not as rigorous with the maintainer as he claims... Login to read more.
