Sounds like a wrong oil filter issue. The correct oil filter has a drain back valve that prevent dry bearings at startup. If you pull the pan, check the bearing the farthest away from the pump for excess wear. This is a common issue on GM trucks. Budget oil ch... Login to read more. ![]()
