Not Your Normal Broken 3V 5.4 Spark Plug

We ran into this today:

[Broken 3v 5.4 Spark Plug]

The spark plug broke off just below the threads, leaving 90% of the threaded portion in the head. Did anyone else have this happen? Any tips on how to remove the broken part without pulling the head?
