Re: Do you always replace cylinder head bolts?
It depends some on the engine...if it is like yours, for example...where the heads rarely crack and warp, but leak coolant externally, skipping the machine shop is often ok if the head is flat. I would not skip the head bolts though...its not so fun to work on... Login to read more. ![]()
