I'd second that, no reason to not do it yourself. From the point of view not of a machinist, but a mechanic who does a lot of aftermarket/fabrication stuff, and throws a ton of heli-coils at stuff. Make sure to catch your chips, but these would be a breeze. Wh... Login to read more.
