Re: Nissan 3.5 timing rattle, not a whine
Not familiar with the internals much but I do remember
either a bulletin or Nissan's version of a GM "PIP" stating
special synthetic ester based oil is to be used on these due
to the noise issue. I'm not sure it will cure the noise but
possibly prevent it.
