I would check the cam and crank patterns with a scope. I have seen a few 3.7 and 4.7 engines BBQ the ignition coils from incorrect ignition timing. Could be faulty sensor, timing chain etc. always a good idea to make sure all circuits involved can carry the ad... Login to read more.
