This is a Teflon seal, and it comes with a guide sleeve attached to it. I don't suspect any abnormality with the crankshaft or housing because it didn't leak until I fixed it. The only issue I see, is the guide sleeve appears to be smaller than the crankshaft.... Login to read more.
