We see a lot of bead leaks on alloy rims up here. We wire brush off the corrosion and apply a thick layer of bead sealant on the rim and let it dry. Then, when we mount the tire, we put a layer on the tire bead and mount the tire while the sealant is still wet... Login to read more.
