Ice isn't the main problem. When its slippery and the pedal shoves back, just turn the key off and it stops quickly. Hit a pothole coming to a stop on a dry road, and the pump fires up so aggressively it pushes my foot up, and I will roll out in front of a bus... Login to read more.
