GM has some roundabout ways, I've seen. Do you suppose the vacuum in the tank is considered a maximum beyond which would begin to collapse the tank, so rather than set a code for excess vacuum, it slowed the rate of fuel usage to protect the tank? Crazy thinki... Login to read more.
