I loosen the bolts that hold the bearing in all the way out, then thread them back in till the heads of the bolts are about 1/4" from the knuckle. I use a conical or stepped bit in my CP717 air hammer and work criss-cross on the bolt heads to work the bearing ... Login to read more.
